Why Dental Health?
It may seem like a small thing to brush and floss your teeth every day and see the dentisit one-two times a year; however the condition of your teeth and gums can be a significant indicator of current and future health.
Researchers have found that people with gum disease are almost twice as likely to suffer from coronary artery disease and are also at greater risk from stroke.
For pregnant women, unhealthy teeth and gums can lead to preterm and low birthweight babies.
Not taking care of your mouth can also lead to tooth loss as early as age 35.
